UNDP works in 170 countries and territories to accomplish eradication of poverty, reduction of inequalities and exclusion.
Objective
UNDP- impact assessment project aims to impart entrepreneurship training to women, enabling them to generate employment opportunities and revenue. The program objective is to provide entrepreneurship training to 30,000 women in 7 districts of Haryana and 4000 women to further provide start-up training.
Scope
To evaluate the key design features, components, implementation strategies and processes adopted by the organizations implementing training programs.
To evaluate the effectiveness of training methods
To examine the eligibility of selected women for start-up and entrepreneurship training programs.
Project Execution
The study involved collecting primary data through the field surveys and telephonic interactions. The sample for the study was selected from 2 districts, namely Jhajjhar and Rohtak.
Interviews, focused group discussions and site visits were undertaken for all the key stakeholders of the program.
Provided recommendations for enhancing the program impacts in the future, which were appreciated by the organization
