Escorts played a significant role in implementing the Swachh Bharat mission in schools in Faridabad, Haryana.
Phase 1:
Aiming that schools in Faridabad have a set of functional and well-maintained washroom and sanitation facilities, the project addressed the requirement of water, sanitation and hygiene in government schools.
Engagement Objective
The project aims to prevent open defecation that pollutes the environment and causes health problems in Faridabad, Haryana.
Haryana has a poor track record of male to female ratio. The project also aims to improve the conditions of the girl child through education, increase enrolments and reduce dropout rates in schools.
Scope of Work
To identify 5 schools in Faridabad and support the initiative of rebuilding and repairing the sanitation facilities.
The project impacted 1900 kids in coeducational schools who require additional toilets.
Phase 2:
Establishing the CSR strategy and completing the road map for the next 3 years across different pillars.
Engagement Objective
To identify issues in communities that impact in and around Faridabad, Haryana.
To work towards providing a comprehensive solution to the communities ranging from health to education to empowerment.
Scope of Work
To identify additional schools and support them by rebuilding and repairing the sanitation facilities.
To identify and set up a model for Anganwadis and Centres to facilitate education and health checkups for 10,000 women and children (including cancer).
To promote digital literacy in line with the Government's vision.
To Improve the water table and inculcate the sustainable farming practice in and around Faridabad, Haryana.
