Project Execution

Bharati, presented by Sahara India, was the most ambitious and spectacular effort to take India to the world. This off-Broadway musical extravaganza co-produced by Asset was launched in Paris and has played over 1500 houseful shows in 14 countries across the globe.

A cast and crew of 140 artists and technicians travelled in a convoy of 7 trucks (loaded with staging & hospitality equipment) and 3 artist buses throughout Europe, including France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Portugal, and Poland among others. A downsized troupe travelled internationally to countries including Canada, Israel, Mauritius, and many more.

Results

Bharati was an exclusive composite mix of India's varied dances, music, culture, and folk traditions.

The 120 minutes musical extravaganza showcased India's rich breath-taking diversity to the international audiences receiving emotional applause and standing ovations across cultures.
